These graphs show how traffic moves through the different little “neighborhoods” inside the
Virtual Internet Exchange. They’re meant for curiosity, tinkering and giving members a sense
of how busy the vIX is at any moment.
vIX Edge is the big uplink where the whole exchange meets the outside world.
It’s the WAN connection into the data‑center, so anything entering or leaving FurrIX
passes through here. If the vIX were a tiny town, Edge would be the highway on‑ramp.

Catos Member Access Interconnect is the member‑facing side of the vIX. Homelabs,
remote nodes and routed prefixes all sit behind Catos. The flow graph only shows IPv6 traffic
between Catos and the vIX transit fabric. Member IPv4 is just WireGuard endpoint
sessions, so it doesn’t appear in these graphs.

Nardoragon Interconnect carries traffic for several vIX services that live behind
Nardoragon, including NS1, Games‑3P, and a handful of internal support systems.
Think of it as the “service backbone” where the vIX keeps its toys, tools and
critter‑powered infrastructure. This router’s graphing includes both IPv4 and IPv6
traffic, thus the data might be skewed a bit from the others.
